Department of Mechanical Engineering started functioning from the inception of the institution in 2009. We offer three-year full-time Diploma Course in Mechanical Engineering (DME)Tool & Die Engineering with an intake of 60 students consisting of two batches. In addition to this intake, the department admits 20% lateral entry students with Hr. Sec. (Academic & Vocational) and ITI background. The faculty of the department are qualified, highly committed, self-motivated and well trained to adopt best teaching-learning process to impart knowledge to the students.

The department organizes Seminars, Paper Presentation Contests, Conferences, Quiz Competitions, Mock Interviews, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, Career Guidance Programmes, Technical Demonstrations, Model Making Contests, Industrial Visits, Film Shows, Parent-Teacher meetings and Guest Lectures. Our students are voluntarily involved themselves in activities like sports, Plant Sapling, etc., in our Campus.

  The objectives of Mechanical Engineering are to

INFRASTRUCTURE

The laboratories are well-equipped with latest equipment and machinery to meet the syllabus requirements. The department has ten Laboratories with an approximate investment of Rs.1Crore.
